Supported by the Chinese YMCA of Hong Kong, we visited Amsterdam, Netherlands in 2019 to study Dutch dementia care model from the aspects of nursing, social welfare and policy and explore the feasibility of Dutch innovation dementia care model in Hong Kong.

We visited the Odensehuis in Amsterdam, where was initially started as a free space for elderly with dementia and their family member together and share the unspoken stories; Hogeweyk, the first ever Dementia village for the severe dementia patients; Dutch Game Garden, where is a social enterprise hub supported by the Dutch government; Alzheimer Centre and Memory Clinics.

During our visit, we designed and delivered a cognitive training workshop to the Dutch elderly by using our products. We are glad that our products gained positive feedback  from the Dutch elderly.
