Cognitive Stimulation Therapy
Our localised cognitive training games are designed and developed based on cognitive stimulation therapy. Cognitive Stimulation Therapy is a therapy which aims to slow down the disease progression by enhancing or maintaining the impaired cognitive function. A systematic review (Reijnders et al,2013) showed that cognitive interventions are effective in improving various aspects of objective cognitive functioning (memory performance, executive functioning, processing speed, attention, and subjective cognitive performance) in healthy older adults and people with mild cognitive impairment. The longitudinal effect in processing speed and reasoning will last for 10 years later.
